Centinela Studio exists because of a gap we watched swallow people's first years in San Miguel. Buying the house turned out to be the easy half — the world is full of professionals who help you buy property. Then the closing papers are signed, the professionals go home, and you are alone in an empty colonial shell with a furniture market in another language, workshops that run on relationships you don't have, and rooms that mass-market furniture was never designed to fit.
We built the studio to be the missing professional: the one who takes the keys after the realtor hands them over, and gives them back when the house is a home. Design, custom furniture, procurement, inspection, delivery, installation, styling — delivered as one package, priced per bedroom in USD, run to a written timeline, and finished with a reveal day instead of a punch list.
The name is the promise: centinela — sentinel. The person who watches so you don't have to.

One accountable party
Design, procurement, customs, delivery, installation, styling — one contract, one number, one throat to choke. The forty vendor relationships are ours to manage, invisibly.
US-level process, Mexican craft
Contracts in English. Milestone payments. Written updates on a schedule. One included revision round, in writing. Underneath: Guadalajara workshops, Oaxacan looms, and prices that would be fantasy north of the border.
We never own the construction
When renovation is involved, you contract your builder directly and we shepherd — eyes, voice, and taste on site. No margin on the build means no reason to hide a problem we find.
The reveal is the product
Not a furniture delivery — a finished home. Beds made, art hung, coffee in the kitchen. The gap between "house" and "home" is exactly what you hired us to close, so we close all of it.
